8/29/2006 - Congratulations Amanda and Matt! |
An old girlfriend of mine (Amanda) and her husband (Matt) just had a baby girl the other day by the name of Emily. Congratulations to the two of them, and I wish them the best of luck.
That's always a nice way to start the day. Now I go teach HTML.
jakeny@att.net Permanent Link to Congratulations Amanda and Matt! | 4/22/2006 - The DaVinci Code | Yeah, this movie seems to be one that is stirring up some serious shit out there. I didn't read the book, but from what I am hearing, it revolves around Jesus having a relationship with Mary Magdalen.
Me, i'm not a firm believer in the movies. The movies just make me think, it might be possible. I'll entertain the thought for a few hours, then i'll let it slide.
The following article ( click for article on about.com ) gives a little more insight on this matter. Check it out. It's a very interesting read. jakeny@att.net Permanent Link to The DaVinci Code | 9/3/2005 - It's late | It's almost 4am, and I am exhausted. Another few days and the first phase of Project Stonybrook will be complete.
Tonight I went to go see the 40 Year Old Virgin. Now from what I have been hearing from EVERYONE is, the movie is hilarious. You will love it. It's such a guy movie. You know what, I think you people are psychotic. Was it amusing? Yes. Was it good? Yes. But I would not put it in the hilarious category. Maybe I have no sense of humor, maybe because i'm a 29 year old virgin I just don't 'get' the humor. Whatever the case, this was not THE FUNNIEST MOVIE EVER, like others have been saying. Still my movie choice for the summer is Wedding Crashers.
And please, whatever you do, DO NOT go see The Brothers Grimm. Probably the worst movie Matt Damon and Heath Ledger have ever been in. jakeny@att.net Permanent Link to It's late | 3/5/2005 - Totally weird | |
11 years ago I started working at this place called qzar. I met A LOT of people from that job, and had a lot of fun travelling when I was with the company. Last night an old friend Jose who came home from Germany a few days ago had a nice little welcome back party in the qzar where it all started for NY. We were told to meet between 7:45 and 8, I was there playing video games around 7:30. Half hour later, the people start coming in to hang for a few hours and share some great memories.
Granted, laser tag is totally gay, but I actually forgot how much fun we used to be able to have (when we weren't getting ready for a tourny or some crap like that).
I haven't seen most of these people in years, but a great time was had by all. Priceless play of the night was shooting Matt off my chin. Oh how people forget the grandfather of Qzar NY, and all the different moves I was able to pull off on them.

No matter what it is, I always check out email's that are forwarded or sent from anyone I know. Everything else I pretty much delete. Well, this morning I woke up from my slumber and found an email from my friend Manny out in Jersey. This was one of the greatest emails I have ever read. I think I may have read it before, but for some reason it is just so much funnier today than it was in the past.
