7/27/2011 - Amazon Appstore | I have recently purchased a new phone called the Samsung Epic 4G. It's a fantastic phone, and only has a few shortcomings. I have a slightly more detailed rundown on my other site.
I'll just let you know the phone is fantastic!!!
I have also downloaded an application known as the amazon appstore. this application allows you to download apps just like the android marketplace. The only difference is that amazon appstore puts up an app that typically costs a few bucks for free. So, every morning I log on to see what's available. Regardless of what it is, unless it's looks completely stupid, I download it.
With that, I think I'm going to try to write a little review about the app that I download. I'll call it my download for the day (or similar).

One movie in particular that I am writing about is Ocean's 11. Fantastic movies as far as heist movies go, and the cast is absolutely amazing. Typically when there is such a large amount of talent, the movie takes a giant dump, but this one was a good one.
Regardless, this post is not about the movie, it's about the truth of this quote. I have been listening to people pitch products relatively often, and one thing that I have learned is that you need to keep it short and to the point or you're going to lose your audience.
Day in and day out I hear people trying to talk up a product and 'convince' people how great it is. Problem is, if it takes that much convincing, you're not doing it right. And that's where the title of this entry comes from.
Time to get back to work!

I need help. I have a few friends that I have propositioned, but they haven't had any time.
So, for those of you who are good with words, I need someone that can write about 10 stories a week for me, having to be related to collections agencies and other information along that topic.
If you want to make an additional $200 a month (50 a week) for writing articles for me, that would be awesome!

Ok, so recently i've been doing some work on a few websites and a database project for a company located out east called CDC.
CollectionsAgency123 is taking a little while to get off the ground because I haven't had the time to write articles. Once some time free's up, i'll spend a bit more time getting it climbing up google.
And recently I started working on a website for an old friend of mine, Dan. He owns a landscaping company, and does a bit more than just landscaping. Does a good job though.

Cyn and I got back from the Poconos this weekend, and we went out there with some friends. We really had a blast.
Saturday was just a day to run around and have fun. We ended up going to a shooting range around 4 or so, and we got to shoot some guns. Cyn and Miguel shot an AK-47 for the first time, and I tell you, that thing had such a resounding boom, I felt it shake the air.
We all shot a 9mm Baby Eagle which was really easy to shoot. Cyn's accuracy was pretty much on point, and I shot my guy on the paper target in the head about 5 times out of 7 shots! Lots of fun!
It was getting kind of cold, so we decided we'd come back in the spring when it gets a little warmer so we can hang out for a longer amount of time, and blow away lots of paper targets and hanging bowling pins!
Sunday we went snowboarding, and this was Cyn's second boarding lesson since her 1st last year, and she's made quite a bit of progress!!! I'm so proud.
Jessica and Miguel also did a wonderful job for there first day on the slopes.
Hopefully i'll have pics soon.
Time for me to get back to work.

So yesterday was Britney Spears' birthday and I just wanted to say happy birthday to her because I know how much she frequents my site because i'm such a huge fan.
On another note, i'm pretty pumped about the new company I am working for, and how we are moving out to Hicksville so I don't need to drive into the city anymore!
Also, this weekend will be a weekend that I get to go snowboarding with Cyn and a few of our friends in the pocono's. First time of the season! So excited!
Every morning, i'm on the road for nearly an hour or so depending on traffic. So I listen to a lot of Z100 in the morning. If you haven't heard the interviews of David Cook or Enrique Iglesias, just follow the link. Enrique Iglesias was hilarious, and everyone should listen to this!

Oh, and Cyn, Andrew and I decided to fly down to Miami to visit her brother David. While we were there, we decided to take a 3 and 1/2 hour drive up to Orlando to go to Disney. We had a great time!
When I originally went down to Disney when I was around 12, I never really enjoyed it. But at that age, we didn't really have the Disney greatness as we do now, and i've been having a blast for the past few years going down at least once, twice, or even three times a year!

Ok, so we went to go see Pineapple Express yesterday. And let me tell you this, it is by far one of the funniest movies I have seen in a VERY long time. I was laughing all the way through. It started to get a little less funny towards the end, but then it got funny again at the very end of the movie. I'm not a huge fan of the Judd Apatow movies that have been coming through recently, but this one is great!

Heading out to Mountain Creek tonight with Cyn. Tomorrow morning will be Cyn's first snowboarding lesson, and the first time I get to head out to the mountain this season. I'm pretty pumped.
If I get any good pictures, i'll be sure to post them up.
And yes!!! We will be hitting Cracker Barrel before we come home.
Oh, and one other thing. Heath Ledger passed away the other day, and what's so odd is I'm actually pretty upset about this. Is it because he was a few years younger than me? Was it his acting chops? I don't know, maybe it was just because he seemed like such a great guy, that it really is a terrible loss. I thought Knight's Tale was one of my favorites.

Once he have a slightly more expanded sales team, I think we will be doing even better than we are now. Once we figure out all the little bugs, we should be able to move onto our next phase.
On top of that, Cyn and I are getting ready to go to Disney at the end of December for New Years. I'm super excited about that. We will be staying in a Disney resort called Caribbean something. Not even sure what the name of the place is, I just know it's a Disney resort, and that's awesome!
I've also been a bit sick, some kind of yearly cold that I get. I'm feeling a bit better now, but last night I ended up having a double dose of NyQuil by accident. So today I was feeling really off. I'm doing much better now.
Oh yeah, and Britney Spears may be prego again! I'm so pumped! Can't wait to see how these kids get taken away from her. Maybe the courts, or maybe some sort of Guerrilla Renegades! That would be cool. Have a few Renegades dressed in camo going to save Britney's kids from their mother! Yeah, that's how i'd like to see it played out!

Why females should avoid a girls night out after they are married:
The other night I was invited out for a night with "the girls." I told my husband "I will be home by midnight, I promise!"
Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easy. Around 3 a.m., a bit loaded, I headed for home. Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hall started up and cuckooed 3 times.
Quickly, realizing my husband would probably wake up, I cuckooed another 9 times. I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution (even when totally smashed), in order to escape a possible conflict with him.
The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in, and I told him, "Midnight".
He didn't seem pissed off at all. Whew! Got away with that one!
Then he said, "We need a new cuckoo clock."
When I asked him why, he said, "Well, last night our clock cuckooed three times, then said, "Oh. A guy that I do work with got one for his son, and this thing on a 60 inch HD TV screen is absolutely amazing. Makes me dizzy too. It's like running around in circles for 30 seconds and trying to focus on shooting a russian. Wild stuff.
On Sunday, I also saw Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. Good movie, but I went in expecting much more. I wasn't let down too bad. I've been real busy with work and play lately.
Last week, I headed into NYC to go see Simple Plan at the Nokia Theater. Simple Plan, although Canadian, rock! Great bunch of guys.
I got to see an old g/f of mine for a few minutes the other night that I haven't seen for ages. She needed some software so I met her at a bar that she hangs at, all is good with her. And yesterday I headed out to Mohegan Sun with dad, and had a great time (like always). Didn't lose too much, just about $200 or so. I thought I may have ended up losing around 5, but i'm ok with losing less. First time in a while that I went gambling and came out losing. Still very fun trip. A lesbian (or a good looking bi-sexual female). This past weekend I saw a movie called high tension. Decent on the suspense end, but like I said earlier, the only thing that really made this movie was the semi cute lesbian.
Beyond that I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith on Sunday. This movie was actually quite excellent. Great action, and very funny. Must see. Didn't have any lesbian or bi-sexual scenes, but go see it anyway. And I am starting to embark on the last leg of my Stonybrook Survey project. I should be able to get through this area of it, in a few days.
I've also just purchased my flight for Tahoe over the 4th of July weekend. It would have cost me a few hundred less, if I were to do it a month ago. It happens.
I go get back to work now. Damien's birthday is on Friday, I think we'll be doing something on Saturday night for him.

Homer, a handsome guy, walked into a sports bar around 9:58 PM.
He sat down next to this blonde at the bar and stared up at the TV.
The 10:00 news was on. The news crew was covering a story of a man on a ledge of a large building preparing to jump.
The blonde looked at Homer and said, "Do you think he'll jump?" Homer says,"You know, I bet he'll jump." The blonde replied, "Well, I bet he won't."
Homer placed $20 on the bar and said, "You're on!" Just as the blonde placed her money on the bar, the guy did a swan dive off of the building, falling to his death.

11 years ago I started working at this place called qzar. I met A LOT of people from that job, and had a lot of fun travelling when I was with the company. Last night an old friend Jose who came home from Germany a few days ago had a nice little welcome back party in the qzar where it all started for NY. We were told to meet between 7:45 and 8, I was there playing video games around 7:30. Half hour later, the people start coming in to hang for a few hours and share some great memories.
Granted, laser tag is totally gay, but I actually forgot how much fun we used to be able to have (when we weren't getting ready for a tourny or some crap like that).
I haven't seen most of these people in years, but a great time was had by all. Priceless play of the night was shooting Matt off my chin. Oh how people forget the grandfather of Qzar NY, and all the different moves I was able to pull off on them.

Especially when it is toward me. Most people would get pissed, but I have learned to pretty much shrug it off.
