Probably headed out to see Rent in just a bit. I decided against getting up at the butt crack of dawn on black friday to do some shopping. I've been doing most of it online. So, i'm pretty much set so far this season.

Today the XBOX 360 hit the streets. The amount of people that were out there last night to purchase this thing, and this morning were unreal.

A guy that I do work with got one for his son, and this thing on a 60 inch HD TV screen is absolutely amazing. Makes me dizzy too. It's like running around in circles for 30 seconds and trying to focus on shooting a russian. Wild stuff.

On Sunday, I also saw Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. Good movie, but I went in expecting much more. I wasn't let down too bad. I would still suggest going to check it out in the theater to get the full effect.

So I went to a wake tonight for a friend who passed away due to cancer. Usually I wouldn't write about a wake, but what I had seen today will be burned in my mind forever.

At the wake, the mother of the deceased was giving people a tour of the dead body. Going through pockets, and being so nonchalant about it. That was disturbing.

Later on as the wake was ending the brother of the deceased was also going through his pockets and pulled out 2 coins that he had put there earlier, and a set of extra buttons that were left in the jacket. Turning to his mother saying, they left the buttons and handing the buttons to her, which she responds, he's not going to need these buttons anymore. Anybody need some buttons?

I just sat in disbelief and amazement. The amount of disrespect is appalling. I need rest, I have work in the morning.

A few decent movies to check out.

Derailed with Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen. Good movie, didn't get to see the trailer so I wasn't sure what to expect.

Zathura with Tim Robbins and Dax Shepperd from Jackass. Similar to Jumanji, but with much cooler effects, and similar plotline. Family in turmoil realize what they have after the game sucks them through another dimension. Always makes for a great movie.

Chicken Little was also pretty cute. Not my style, but Michelle loved it.

I've been real busy with work and play lately.

Last week, I headed into NYC to go see Simple Plan at the Nokia Theater. Simple Plan, although Canadian, rock! Great bunch of guys.

I got to see an old g/f of mine for a few minutes the other night that I haven't seen for ages. She needed some software so I met her at a bar that she hangs at, all is good with her.

And yesterday I headed out to Mohegan Sun with dad, and had a great time (like always). Didn't lose too much, just about $200 or so. I thought I may have ended up losing around 5, but i'm ok with losing less. First time in a while that I went gambling and came out losing. Still very fun trip. Can't wait till I get to go back again.

If you have seen the first movie saw, the second installment totally blows the first one away. You could probably see the second without the need of seeing the first. But it will definitely give you a perspective of the type of movie that you are about to watch.

And yes, it is extremely graphic and disgusting. More than the first. After you see it, drop me an email so you can slam the movie to me because it was so gross etc.
