9/29/2005 - WoW |
There is a game out there called WoW (a.k.a. World of Warcraft), it's the biggest thing. I have people on my buddy list putting away messages up that say "playing WoW". Must be an awesome game.
The way these online games work is pretty simple. You sign on, and you go beat the hell out of people on the internet. Life is grand.
What's funny is, today the company that created WoW decided to release a 'patch' (update to all mortal's out there that aren't familiar with our nerdy lingo). This patch worked a little differently than expected. Someone would get infected with this tainted blood, then as they would walk around, the disease would spread. Problem is, nearly everyone got this diseased blood on them in the game, and everyone started to die. A plague, in a video game. What's next hidden sex tapes in video games? Gosh. jakeny@att.net Permanent Link to WoW |
9/26/2005 - New NH Site |
Just finished up the new site for New Horizons of Long Island. Still need a little tweaking for the search engines, but it's coming along ok.

On top of that, last Thursday I went out to this club called Posh in the Garden City Hotel. Me and some business partners / friends of mine were able to get on the guest list. Let me tell you this, this place is unreal. That's all I can say. Check it out for yourself.

9/24/2005 - Six Flags |
Last night was a Six Flags season pass holder event. Decided to go on Nitro at around 9pm, and that is an extremely frightening ride in the total darkness. Can't wait until I get to see what Kingda Ka is like. jakeny@att.net Permanent Link to Six Flags |
9/21/2005 - This is going to be really cool |
This January I will probably end up going out to Las Vegas with some business partners of mine to check out the Electronics show. Should be pretty cool. While there we are hoping that the newest and most unreal attractions will be completed for our trip. Check it out for yourself. It's only a 2 hour drive from vegas.

If you don't have the time to read, it is a glass walkway that you will be able to walk out on, and look straight down into the grand canyon. Yeah, talk about bad ass! jakeny@att.net Permanent Link to This is going to be really cool |
9/20/2005 - Dane Cook |
There is a comedian by the name of Dane Cook. I purchased tickets for a live performance at the theater at Madison Square Garden. Let me tell you this much, this was an amazing show. He is also going to be in the new movie 'Waiting' as a cook at a fictional restaurant called Shenanegans (or something like that).
Check out his site, i'm sure there are a few links to some funny stuff over there.

9/9/2005 - Two posts in one day! A miracle! |
If you love someone, set them free. If they come back to you then it was meant to be (or something like that).
Here's my philosophy on that! If you love someone, don't let them go. If you let them go and come back, they probably have crabs. Have a great night. jakeny@att.net Permanent Link to Two posts in one day! A miracle! |
9/9/2005 - Done! |
Stonybrook project is now complete. Now it's just time to create some queries and reports, and we'll be good from there. Can I get some rest now?? jakeny@att.net Permanent Link to Done! |
9/3/2005 - It's late |
It's almost 4am, and I am exhausted. Another few days and the first phase of Project Stonybrook will be complete.
Tonight I went to go see the 40 Year Old Virgin. Now from what I have been hearing from EVERYONE is, the movie is hilarious. You will love it. It's such a guy movie. You know what, I think you people are psychotic. Was it amusing? Yes. Was it good? Yes. But I would not put it in the hilarious category. Maybe I have no sense of humor, maybe because i'm a 29 year old virgin I just don't 'get' the humor. Whatever the case, this was not THE FUNNIEST MOVIE EVER, like others have been saying. Still my movie choice for the summer is Wedding Crashers.
And please, whatever you do, DO NOT go see The Brothers Grimm. Probably the worst movie Matt Damon and Heath Ledger have ever been in. jakeny@att.net Permanent Link to It's late |
